Bassline ("we," "our," or "us") is a music tool that separates audio stems and generates guitar and bass tablature. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

• Content you provide: Audio file URLs or uploads you submit for processing, tabs you save, playlists you create, favorites you mark, and community posts or comments you write.

• Device information: Basic device and browser type collected as part of standard web server logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Bassline service

3. Audio Processing

When you submit a URL for processing, the audio is downloaded and processed on our servers to separate stems and generate tablature. Processed files are stored temporarily and associated with your account. We do not sell or share your audio content with third parties.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers: We use Railway (railwayapp.com) to host our servers. Your data is stored on their infrastructure under their data processing agreements.
• Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us, and we will remove your personal data within 30 days.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and hashed password storage. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Bassline is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
